Great things are happening. Keep watching for what we've got in store for you.

I lived most of my life in the Northeast Kansas Flinthills, among the backwoods of Osage-Orange and Sycamore. I love those backwoods. Between the jeep trails and washboard gravel county roads, where mist would roll in from the Kaw River in the Autumnal months, heavy rain would dreich down in the Vernal months, and the very air would smell timeless and newborn like it was woven together. Out West past trees, of course, was the rolling prairie, majestic in its seeming infinity. Whether covered in that verdant newgrass

I had spent many of my childhood summers in Colorado. Good friends of the family had a survival and primitive skills camp he conducted West of Creede every summer, and my family participated. However, health conditions became so burdensome to these good friends that they discontinued the camp. It wasn't an ostentatious locale as I'm to understand other high mountain places in Colorado are, but I enjoyed those trips into the cedars and aspens. Occasionally, the mountainfolk would tells us flatlanders about the weird creatures who lived in the big city of Denver. I remember one particularly colorful description of a young man with a mullet that appeared to be spray-painted blue, white, orange, and black. Of course, now, I would recognize this as a mere moderate Broncos fan, but at the time, it sounded like the kind of folk I'd mostly want to avoid, if I could manage. And I seemed to manage, until just the right time when it seemed I needed to move away from my familiar rural community, so familiar that generations of my family had lived there and continue to do so with my love. As stated in my Kansas Life story, I was bid to live with my best friend in the Mile High City. I spent some time away from the tech industry, learning a bit about working in other areas of the service industry and certainly very much about the care of our favorite pets. Still, there was always something tech-related that seemed to be calling out to me in every job. After a long hiatus, I returned to the working world of tech.

Currently, I'm living in one of the many suburbs of Denver. I love living where I can smell the cedars in the warm summer winds that get cooled in the invigorating afternoon rains. I work for InMotion Hosting as a Technical Support representative, and I absolutely love the culture of this company. From my first day on til today, I feel that everyone supports each other in the roles they perform, even the Tier 1 agents. The urging to ask for help when you need it is genuine here and everyone with experience is eager to help wherever they can. I see myself making this my career home, and I'm excited to see what I can do here.
